We know that there are always concerns related to purchases and that is why we only sell high quality products that meet or exceed our standards of excellence.
Due to the nature of the products that we sell it is very important to handle and deliver with the utmost care.  Because of this concern we only use white glove handling and shipping for our larger products.  This method is more expensive than regular freight but we feel that due to the importance of a smooth business transaction it is well worth the additional expense to our customers knowing that their product will be delivered by a "white glove" delivery service consisting of a two man crew.  You will still save hundreds of dollars on your purchase and you can feel confident that your product will be delivered to you with excellent service.

Pay online by credit card :  PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, & Discover are accepted.

When will my credit  card be charged?
Your credit card will be charged within 12-48 hours after placing your order.
A "pre-payment" policy is in effect to protect both, you the customer, and ourselves from fraudulent orders.  This policy also allows us to get product shipped out faster by the manufacturers.
 
How do I pay by Personal Check, Cashiers Check or Money Order?
Add the items you would like to purchase into the online shopping cart as you would if you were paying by credit card.  Click on the "Check Out" button when prompted and enter in your name and address information.  Next, click on the "Continue" button when prompted.  Finally, print out the next page and mail it to us at the following address:

Special Notes:
Please make sure you include your email address so we are able to send you an order confirmation.  Please be sure your payment reflects the total on the order print out and make your check payment to XyZo Design.   Please allow 14 business days for the check to clear our bank.  Once the check clears your order will be processed.

Pricing Policies  :
 
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax is not charged unless you live in the state of Illinois.
Illinois state sales tax is 7.0%.
As a consumer, it is your responsibility to meet the sales tax requirements for your state.

Cancellation Policies  :
 
Standard Items:
All orders can be cancelled without penalty within 24 hours of purchase.  We deal direct with the manufacturers and do not warehouse or inventory the product in our own facility.  Doing this provides us with the opportunity to pass on greater price savings to our customers and make more products and options available to you.  Because we order the products with the manufacturers as we receive orders, we will incur all cancellation charges and return freight charges from the manufacturers.  Based on the above we cannot cancel our customers' orders without incurring a cancellation penalty.  If you must cancel your order, below are the penalty amounts :
Within 24 hours:  no penalty
After 24 hours:  15% of order total
After 24 hours and staged for shipping at the manufacturer:  30% of order total
 
Please Note:  Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be returned.  Please review our return policy.
 
Custom/Special Items:
Custom/Special items are made with your personal specifications.  These items are "made to order" and are not sitting is stock at the manufacturer.  These orders cannot be cancelled after 24 hours of purchase.  After the 24 hour time period, the Custom/Special items become non-refundable and will be shipped to you within the estimated shipping time constraints.

Shipping Policies  :
 
Currently we ship anywhere within the Continental United States.
We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico.
The shipping time frames listed are estimates only, not guarantees.
We rely on the manufacturer to provide us with ship dates for their products.  If we find that there is going to be an unusaual delay on your order, we will notify you immediately.  On average, most large items take 7-21 days for transit from the time it ships out of the manufacturer, not from the time the order is placed.  Exact delivery dates are not available until you are contacted from the delivery service company to set up your delivery date and time.  We are able to contact you with ongoing status of when your item will or has been shipped.
 

Shipping Options:
 
Small Items:
Small items will be shipped via UPS or Fed Ex.
In the event that you need to reschedule delivery, or if you are not going to be home,
please contact the appropriate delivery service company.
 
Large Items:
Large items will be shipped "White Glove" delivery service.
There are 4 options available to choose from.
 
Option 1:
Bronze:
Includes 2-person delivery to a Garage or First Dry Area.
Threshold or stair carries are not available for this level of service.
 
Option 2:
Silver:
Includes 2-person delivery inside placement, up to two (2) flights of stairs.
 
Option 3:
Gold:
Includes 2-person delivery inside placement , up to two (2) flights of stairs, unpacking, debris removal and set-up limited to fifteen (15) minutes and no usage of tools.  Setup services are limited to those that can be performed without the use of tools.  Setup services that exceed fifteen (15) minutes will be charged at a rate of $20.00 per quarter hour or fraction thereof.  Setup services do not include any electrical, plumbing or component hookups.
 
Option 4:
Platinum:
Includes 2-person delivery inside placement, up to two (2) flights of stairs, unpacking, debris removal, and light assembly limited to thirty (30) minutes.  Light assembly services are limited to those that can be performed with an adjustable wrench and screwdrivers.  Light assembly that exceeds thirty (30) minutes will be charged at a rate of $20.00 per quarter hour or fraction thereof.  Light assembly services do not include any electrical, plumbing or component hookups.

Return Policies:
 
Standard Items:
In the event that the item arrives at your home and you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have the option of refusing the order at the time of delivery only.  If there is nothing wrong with the merchandise and you simply do not like the choice you made, the item may be refused at the time of delivery for a refund minus 30% restocking fee and all the freight charges incurred by XyZo Design.  You will pay the cost of the freight both ways, the original freight to you and the freight cost to return the item.  All products must be refused at the time of delivery or we cannot accept the return.  Once the order is signed for, there will be no returns accepted.
 
Custom/Special Items:
These items are all "made to order" and are non-refundable.

Damages and Exchanges Policy:
 
Even though we use professional delivery services, accidents do happen on occasion.  All products are fully inspected and professional packed before shipping out from the manufacturer.
When the merchandise is received, we require that you fully inspect the merchandise and/or the cartons for any in transit shipping damage.  In the event there is noticeable damage to the merchandise or the cartons, we request that this is noted on the freight bill.  Do not send back the merchandise if the defect or damage is noted on the delivery bill we will replace the damaged piece at no additional charge.  Please note that the damaged or defect must be noted on the freight bill in order for XyZo Design to reorder or replace any goods.  If the merchandise is damaged beyond repair and the piece must be exchanged, then only refuse the damaged item not the entire order.  If the entire order is refused because of damage on one item the redelivery fees will be applied.  If the damage is not noted on the freight bill, then you must contact the manufacturer according to the warranty.  We cannot replace any items that are not noted on the freight bill.  For missing parts please contact us by phone or email within 24 hours of receipt for replacement parts.

Refunds Policy :
 
Refunds for cancelled or returned orders can only be credited back to the same credit card used when making the purchase.  Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 3 business
days.  Refunds for orders that have already shipped or are in the process of being returned will be processed once goods have been received back to our warehouse or the manufacturer's warehouse.  All refunds will be processed minus any applicable restocking or cancellation fees.

Warranties:
 
XyZo Design does not manufacture the products that we sell.  Warranties on products are offered by the manufacturers only and not by XyZo Design.  When available, warranty information will be listed on the product pages.  For products that do not have warranty information listed on our site, generally the manufacturer warranty covers only defects in materials and craftsmanship from the factory.  Please contact us for any questions regarding specific products.

Color/Finish/Shade Guarantee Disclaimer:
 
XyZo Design has swatches available for most upholstered and leather items that we sell.
If you are unsure of a color and would like to view a color swatch, please contact us.
We do not guarantee color, tone, shades or finishes on any item due to the fact that screen settings vary from computer to computer.  For the best depiction of an item color, set screen so items in picture seem to be in their natural color.  If you are trying to match items with other items
